The Community Housing Commission of Western Australia (CHCWA) kickstarted their annual Homeless Persons Week early Monday evening at Queens Hall, located on the Uniting Church premises in the heart of the CBD.
Dr Richard Walley opened with the Nyoongar blessing before Barry Doyle, Executive Officer of CHCWA and Cr Janet Davidson thanked and made special mention of those who support and help facilitate the running of it in Perth. Homeless Persons Week was officially launched by Cr Davidson before more refreshments were served.
